A litter of 7-week-old kittens were found early September in an industrial site in Montreal. The man who rescued them, took them to Chatons Orphelins Montréal to help them find good homes.
“The gentleman managed to catch six kittens, one of them was immediately adopted by a family. The guy knew that the other five needed help, so he brought them to us,” Celine Crom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with Love Meow.
“There are 2 females and 3 males: Chaplin (black, male), Vinny (tiger, male), Muslie (grey, female), Alpha (grey, male) and Zia (grey, female).”

Two of the kittens were born with giant mittens – extra toes and thumbs on their paws. Muslie the girl and Alpha the boy are both polydactyls.
Alpha has a pair of thumbs and extra digits on his paws.

“The five little kittens went to their foster home with Isabelle to continue their weaning and socialization. The little ones were very active, friendly and playful.”
As soon as they arrived in a comfortable home, they began to thrive.

In less than a week, they went from shy little kittens to affectionate lovebugs.
Alpha the most laid-back of the five likes to knead on soft things with those big mittens.

Muslie is the little supervisor.
She would watch her siblings play before tackling them from behind. She’s a great hunter and no feathery toys could escape her.

“Alpha the bear is very calm and sweet. He enjoys the company of older cats,” Celine shared with Love Meow.
“Muslie the sister is curious and playful. When she catches a feather toy, she takes it with her and hides it under the bed.”
