The odds were stacked against Baby Bubblegum when he arrived at the Alley Cat Rescue in Los Angeles. He was half the size of his siblings and was afflicted with a variety of illnesses.

“When he came to us for 10 days, he weighed 71 grams. “It was so little and delicate that we couldn’t even weigh it at first,” the animal rights campaigners said.

Bubblegum merely stumbled after the rest of the kittens in the litter as they began to play and run, anxious not to miss anything.

In order for the kitten to gain weight, he was given additional food daily. At the age of two months, he finally almost approached the mark of 0.5 kg. “He wasn’t big enough to jump over partitions, but he could climb up your legs and into your lap for a nap.”

Bubblegum was about two months behind in development. When the rest of the kittens had already been handed out to good hands, he himself still had to grow.

I eventually had the kitty formally diagnosed and explained his health concerns after many trips to the veterinarian. He was born with a congenital liver ailment, but with the appropriate medication and nutrition, he is recovering.

“Bubblegum is a senior inspector who locates suitable sleeping quarters. He is always on the go and finds everything intriguing,” the rescuers said.

“He frolics in every box he finds in our house. Looking forward to getting all the contents out of his box so he can play, sleep and just hang out in this space.”

Knowing how much pleasure the company of relatives brings to the animal, people began to introduce him to other adoptees.

Around that time, rescuers adopted a black and white kitten named Atticus. He was in critical condition, but then recovered, acquired an enviable appetite and gained weight before our eyes.

At the time when Atticus was bottle fed on schedule, Bubblegum could hear his baby squeak and was already longing for the day when the kitten would be ready to show up and play with him.

Atticus was paired with another loner, a black and white Sheffield of his age, when he was a month old. The two became fast friends.

“From the minute they met, they were inseparable. They cuddled at night, frolicked, and battled throughout the day.

Bubblegum was overjoyed when they delivered not one, but two kittens at the same time. Of course, everyone got along swimmingly, like if they’d known each other for years.

Our striped hero has assumed the role of older brother, instructing young cats on how to be cats. He brings the kittens to his favorite spot in the sun and tells them they need to wash their faces.

The cat is a great helper when it comes to caring for kittens. He interacts with them and sleeps near to them.

“With other cats, he is quite friendly, playing, cuddling, and making friends. “He has no trouble making touch with dogs,” the protestors claim.

Cutie Bubblegum has passed all of her medical exams and is now looking for a permanent residence.

“He is incredibly sweet,” the animal rights activists write. “He loves to lie under the blankets at night, hops on your lap while you work, and generally helps around the home.” “Make sure you replace kitty litter properly, keep bowls filled, and have goodies on available at all times.”

So, the pocket miracle was transformed into a magnificent pet. He is an amazing, caring friend to each and every foster kid.
