Even though they couldn’t do much for a dog that was rescued when she desperately needed it since she was full of tumors and very sick, they assured the dog that she would be happy.
Life on the streets and the indifference of the people who looked at her had left Noah in terrible shape; her nails were so long she could hardly walk, and she had tumors all over her body. Thankfully, a foundation called Laika in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, found her and gave her the best months of her life, surrounded by love.
A dog with several tumors is saved by the heroes.
The Fundación Laika Protectora de Animales, A.C. reports that on a wet day, they rescued a dog whose nails resembled claws and whose sorrowful eyes sought and pleaded for aid. What was wrong with her? She was so malnourished that you could see her skeleton.
The group rushed her to the veterinarian in an effort to help her recover, but after beginning treatment, the results of her tests revealed extensive arthritis, kidney disease, and heart failure, and there was nothing that could be done.
She allowed herself to be comforted by the volunteers, who were inspired by her courage and lavished her with hugs and attention. Her saucer overflowed with delicious treats and refreshing liquids, and she knew she was deeply cared for.
They anticipated that Noah’s terminal sickness and arthritis would shorten her life span, but they assured her that she would be cherished, protected, and most of all, accompanied, right up until the end.
She will be joyful and fulfilled and full of love if this is indeed her last time in this planet. She deserves the best that life has to offer after a lifetime of isolation, sickness, and confinement; may her laika be just that.
This dog felt the refreshing effects of the ocean water, watched the sun set, and was surrounded by the people who showed her that the world contains kind, kind humans who will look out for them.
The time has come for you to leave, Noah.
The volunteers were sad to see the small puppy go, but they knew Noah needed to cross the rainbow, and they didn’t want him to have to suffer just to get there, so they said their goodbyes.
The heroes who came to her aid embraced her, thanked her for teaching them courage, and shed tears as they witnessed her draw her last breath and pass on to a place where pain and anguish no longer exist.
