Cops Honor Loyal K-9 Officer With The Most Touching Goodbye

God Bless this Dog

Before being diagnosed with cancer, K-9 Officer Hunter worked for Connecticut’s Middletown Police Department for ten years with his partner, Michael D’Aresta and his coworkers.

And they wanted him to know how much they loved him on his last day on Earth. Hunter placed his life on the line every day while on the force to keep the neighborhood safe. His dedicated service to the force came to an end recently as his health suddenly deteriorated: “K-9 Hunter has been sick for some days, and examinations indicated that he has an extremely severe form of liver cancer. “Unfortunately, they advised euthanasia,” Middletown K-9 supervisor Sgt. Doug Clark said online.

The police salutes the loyal K-9 officer with a heartfelt goodbye, Carolyn Mullet 22nd of February 20210292528 Before being diagnosed with cancer, K-9 Officer Hunter worked for Connecticut’s Middletown Police Department for ten years with his partner, Michael D’Aresta and his coworkers. Hunter placed his life on the line every day while on the force to keep the neighborhood safe. His dedicated service to the force came to an end recently as his health suddenly deteriorated:

“K-9 Hunter has been sick for some days, and examinations indicated that he has an extremely severe form of liver cancer. “Unfortunately, they advised euthanasia,” Middletown K-9 supervisor Sgt. Doug Clark said online. The diagnosis was particularly painful for D’Aresta, who had to make the tough decision to put his companion to sleep, but he was not alone in his sadness. When that tragic day arrived, surrounded by his fellow officers outside the veterinary office, D’Aresta carried Hunter in his arms as he received one last salute from those he had served so faithfully beside.

Clark said, “Officer D’Aresta and Hunter have been an amazing team serving the City of Middletown in a high caliber since 2007.” “As you may guess, this is a really terrible situation for Mike and his family.” Middletown has a population of roughly 50,000 people, but because to the emotional manner the police department said goodbye to K-9 Hunter, his legacy is now known by countless more people across the country and around the world – and that is a legacy that will not be forgotten.
