A 4-year-old shelter kitty couldn’t stand waiting any more so she took matters into her own paws to get adopted.

Little Rosie was born at her foster home back in 2013. Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter in Arlington, Washington paired her up with a home but things somehow didn’t work out, and later she was returned the second time.
Rosie is a cat with a lot of cattitude and sass. She wants to be the only animal in her household and to be with someone who can understand that she needs time to adjust.
“Rosie has been known to give ‘love bites’ which is another reason she needs someone with experience and who understands cats,” Purrfect Pals shared with Love Meow.

The ginger girl went back to the adoption center to wait for her forever family the third time.
She was not happy and a bit grumpy staying at the center. After several days of waiting, she decided to deal with the problem head-on and find a forever home she so deserves.

Rosie got up on her hind feet and started pawing on the glass cage when she saw people walk by.
“She was so ready for a real home,” Cerise Wood of Purrfect Pals told Love Meow.

Local TV Station King 5 shared Rosie’s video on Instagram and many people fell in love with the sweet feline.
Watch this sweet video of Rosie:
A sweet couple from Burien who had asked about Rosie earlier last week, came to see her.
“Ron (the husband) had seen Rosie on Instagram and was drawn to her instantly.”

It was a complete surprise to Betty (the wife) when Ron suggested that they bring Rosie home.
The couple lost their previous cat to cancer a few years ago and had not had one since. After seeing Rosie, Ron felt that the sweet kitty would be the perfect fit.

“They are quite savvy about cat care and are willing to handle Rosie’s special diet. After completing the adoption paperwork they shopped for supplies and left the store with a cartful of new stuff for Rosie, including a bed, toys, litter/cat box, etc.
“Rosie will be their only pet and there are no young children in the home. It looks like Rosie has finally found the perfect home and people!”

The smart little girl was fed up with being without a home, so she stood up for herself and pawed her way into a loving family that she’d been waiting for.
“I bet she feels like she is in heaven now,” Cerise told Love Meow.
