A friendly black lab named Felix lives in the state of Alaska in the United States. On the social media platform Imgur, where he is well-known, he has won over a big following of admirers who have followed his journey and like watching the adorable furry man grow in his endeavors. These fans have enjoyed seeing the adorable furry man progress in his activities.
This dog has come a long way, and has just underwent dental surgery that was a complete success.
Felix has been in my care ever since he was 11 days old. When the breeder realized that one of the puppies in her litter was not doing well and was really dying due to the fact that she had a terrible cleft palate and cleft lip and was unable to feed from her mother in the correct manner, they called in a rescue worker and I was the one who came to help the puppy.
The process of eliminating this hairy individual was a challenging one.
Jamie explains:
“At this point in time, he was suffering from aspiration pneumonia and wouldn’t live through the night. I took care of his nutrition for the next seven weeks by feeding him through a tube when I brought him home. In addition to that, I treated his pneumonia for him. He is currently 14 months old and has finally attained this milestone!
It is not known what causes cleft lips and/or cleft palates. Jamie believes that exposure to certain things or insufficient nourishment during pregnancy might create this impairment in both people and animals. This holds true for both species.
Felix is a courageous fighter who does not let his health problems prohibit him from having a good time and taking pleasure in life. In addition to suffering from digestive disorders, this Labrador has malocclusions of the jaws and only one of its eyes is fully functional. His colon was on the other side of his body from the rest of his body when he was developing. He has a very recognizable appearance to his face.
Jamie continued:
Due to the fact that none of her teeth are a perfect match, she can only eat food that comes in a can. When I offer him tough food to make him feel more like “one of the pack,” he sometimes has trouble picking it up, which may be a little frustrating for me. On the other hand, he keeps him busy.
