Peyton and his canine best friend Dash have an unbreakable bond, through the good times and the bad, they remain together.

Peyton’s mother, Jillian Marie Smith, always knew that Dash would bring another level of happiness into the already joyful house, especially after seeing how well he got on with Peyton.

“Dash has made life happier for the whole family. Most of all, for Peyton. If you ask Peyton, Dash is his buddy.”

Their relationship was perfectly demonstrated when Peyton was sent to the ‘time-out corner’ for a few minutes after picking a fight with his sister.

Despite it only being a short punishment, for Peyton to reflect on his actions, it seemed like Dash couldn’t stand for Peyton to do it alone, and the scene below is what Jillian saw when she turned around.

“I couldn’t be mad long because it was just so cute how Peyton wrapped his arm around Dash,” said Jillian. “When Peyton had to go to time-out, I think Dash knew he needed his buddy.”

Although this is unlikely to be the last time Peyton finds himself in hot water, at least he can be reassured by knowing his canine friend will be by his side throughout it all.
