Abandoned Just Few Days Before Giving Birth Got Shooed Away By People She Ran With A Heavy Belly…

(On 17 Mar I got a call about a pregnant dog in Coronado… …she’s about to give birth but abandoned a few days ago… ..few nice people gave her food but a lot shooed her away… …she had to hide herself in a field next to the highway… …breathed heavily, her puppies and herself are in risk… …luckily a nice lady saw her and called us for help.. .
.when I arrived and approached her, she ran away… …she couldn’t run that fast but I didn’t want to panic her… …I followed her gently, she got exhausted and lay down … …then I tried to lure him in our cage with food… …luckily it worked… …we quickly hold the cage and tried to calm her down…
now let take her to my vet… …she seemed OK and didn’t really panic in the cage… …the vet said she is just a few days to giving birth… …luckily Ultrasound shows her babies are all healthy… …there are at least 10 of them on their way to life… …they are a bit smaller than normal but should be OK…
her hip is a little deviated & she got severe tick infection… …now let do her tick removal… …first we have to remove all ticks we can see… ..then give her a medicine bath to avoid getting infected again.. …she behaved well and didn’t aggressive at all… …I also did a bit massage to her belly hope it helps…
I figured out she’s very skinny but let improved it later… …now everything is ready, let wait for her big moment… …she is a bit nervous that night but it should be OK… .. .nearly there for her first baby…
first one went well… …and her second one… …she gave birth to 11 puppies, all of them made it… …they are so cute, I’m so happy to play with them… …take them for their first sun bath…
