A stray puppy aimlessly wanders into a naval base and discovers its forever home in the caring arms of an officer.

Griffon is one of those dogs that always seems to be fortunate. The 6-month-old stray had been on the streets for so long that he had given up hope of ever finding a place to call his own.

The young pup eventually found himself in the arms of a man who saved him at the most unexpected place—a foreign naval base—as a result of his wandering. According to a Facebook post made by Paws of War, a charity that trains service dogs for military personnel and emergency personnel, it says

“A U.S. Naval Commander saw the little dog and immediately recognized that he wouldn’t survive long alone in such a dangerous environment; scooping the pup up into his arms as he was reminded of his unit’s motto, “Those who arrive alive, leave alive,” and he knew it had to apply to this little soul as well.
After hearing about Griffon, everyone on base became eager to meet him. While Griffon was being cared for, the statement claimed, “the Commander established a wonderful bond with the pup, who now follows him everywhere.”

The family adopted the puppy, whom they named Little Griffon, and he brightens everyone’s day.

The 6-month-old stray had spent so much time on the streets that he had given up on ever finding a home

As soon as people heard that the pup had arrived at the base, they all clamored to greet the newest member of the squad. Griffon gained notoriety and stardom after capturing everyone’s attention with his adorable appearance and humorous behavior.

The dog’s roaming brought him into the arms of a man who rescued him

The heroic commander has made the decision to adopt Griffon and bring him home when he gets back to the United States. Despite the lack of details, Paws of War spokesman Gary Baumann claims that the commander and Griffon will soon be reunited.

“Those who arrive alive, leave alive,” and he knew it had to apply to this little soul

Griffon and the Commander developed a close friendship as the Commander took on the responsibility of caring for Griffon. The family grew around little Griffon.

Since he was in danger, he decided to save him, but now that he is safe, he is surrounded by pure love

Baumann continued, “We’re looking for a reunion soon. The commander is from Maryland and will welcome Griffon home with a wife and kids.

The puppy, named Little Griffon, became a part of the family and makes everyone’s day better

Everyone who encounters the dog finds him to be a positive influence on their lives. He cannot imagine leaving him behind to fend for himself when the Commander returns to the United States.

So he contacted Paws of War via their War-Torn Pups and Cats Program to ask for assistance. Drop your thoughts about this story in the comments section below.
